Invisalign® works by replacing traditional metal braces with a series of plastic trays called aligners. These aligners are custom made for you by taking impressions of your teeth. The impressions will be used to make 3D models of your teeth, and the actual plastic aligners will be created using these models. This process allows for a customized fit in your mouth. So they fit perfectly in your mouth. After wearing each new set of aligners for two weeks, you will typically have a brand-new smile in just six months to a year.
